FAQ

What is the benefit of a vertical garden?

Indoor vertical gardens are a fantastic way to maximize unused walls especially if your garden space is limited. They function great for urban farming, gardening, or as a decoration. Within your home, a vertical wall can both help reduce the temperature of your home, lowering your energy bills, and soften the impact of traffic or noisy neighbors.

Indoor green walls can have a therapeutic effect as well from overall exposure to plants. Other than it's aesthetic feel and visual appearance they also affect the indoor climate with reduced CO2 levels. Indoor living walls help remove a variety of common household toxins in the air, which could be especially important with allergy suffers in the house. Another added benefit, depending on the size of your wall, is that a vertical wall can help insulate the home.

What is the installation process?

Based on the vertical planters you've chosen some will require nails for installation while others are stackable. Depending on your preferences the hardshell vertical planters can be stacked on top of each other from the ground and can also be nailed to the wall. Softshell vertical planters will need nails to be installed. Keep in mind that softshell planters are for waterproof walls only, we highly recommend using them outdoors and inserted into the pockets with pots.

What plants can I put on my green wall?

The right plants need to be chosen for the right places because the ones with the disease can contaminate others surrounding it. In order to have a wall growing all year round, we recommend choosing evergreens over perennials. Keep in mind that different plants are best suited in different environments. That means the type of plant you should choose depend on the level of shade, sun, and wind of the placement area. Use our site to filter for the right plant!
